Ever see a plane crash? Not on television or in a movie, but in actuality? Most people haven’t, but one Russian commuter saw one and captured it on his car camera Saturday (Dec. 29), the video going viral within hours. The dramatic footage almost puts the viewer in the incident. Since most haven’t ever seen a plane crash, much less seen one slam into highway fencing and shower the road with debris, the immediate effect might be somewhat akin to this: Ever been driving down the highway and had an 18-wheeler blow a tire ahead of you as it rolled along at about 70 mph? The moment becomes immediately filled with split-second decisions, movements, and fears as you discern what seems to be occurring, calculate distances, contemplate swerving, actually move the steering wheel, apply the brakes, glance at your various mirrors, hope nobody slams into you, and watch the flying pieces of hard rubber bounce and carom toward you.
